if you leave the car in manual shift mode it wont shift down....even if theres no flash

Is this the case for the ed35? My roc will shift down in manual mode if the kickdown is activated.

shifts down on my g6 as well but obviously dependent on rpm

In manual my car stays in gear. Doesn't change down..
How An Engine Works... Exhaust gases go into the turbocharger and spin it, witchcraft happens, sign posts fly by at light speed, the girl in your passenger seat screams!

That's right...u can't bw driving 100km/h in 6th and not expect it to gear down when u put foot...so its rpm and gear dependent
