kudos to the team.

btw i think brandon rocc had one lambda aswell and his best with stock internals and lesser mods was 12.6 consistantly done over a year ago.

LOL guys since when are there catorgories for old and new spec :lol::lol:

Whats next different year models different colours ect.:lol::lol:

well done to brandon for his achievement over the year.dont no him or his tuner but for playing around for a year with no improvement is not lekker.my roc has improved from a 13.5 to a 12.1 in 4 months under the frc banner n thats what i call tuning.btw i have stock internals with stock interior and no more mods than your average ko4.im proud of the work that frc as done to my car and also thankful for the tips i get from other tuners like sameer from apr and ally from fr n r.i dont like politics but can c some thrieve of it.i would appreciate it if you can forward me the info of another roc with a single lambda that achieved this time.i would also like you to speak to your tuner n find out hw easy it is to tune a single lambda roc compared for example your roc.my challenge to u is to better my time with a single lambda roc ;).

Well said Faizel

For those who don't know, the single lambda rocc's are especially difficult to tune at K04 level - we had one and battled with it...hence my initial comment about Faizel's 12.1 being impressive especially considering it is a single lambda rocc.

Its got nothing to do with different classes for older models or krap like that. I was giving credit to FRC for having achieved this on a car that is not easy to tune.

Well done again Faizel and FRC !

Like I said before, well done on your time.

Not really sure what u are on about with regards to me? Yes I did run a 12.6 with my old Scirocco – with FRC as well as Stealth. But that car last ran in November 2011 – so why would there be an improvement on a car that is not competing anymore? For your information, I chose not to run that car anymore because it was a show car with a full sound install and a bodykit – which is not exactly conducive to running 1/4 mile times. I got sick of removing the sound every time there was an event we wanted to go to. Also the kit made it quite low and impractical for me – especially having to negotiate speed bumps in my suburb.

So when you talk about 'no improvement' in my times – u have it all wrong. If you want to talk about my current car, I ran 12.9 on 3-cylinders with my IHI turbo, and then 12.3 with K04 at Tarlton at Drag Wars. Those are the only two occasions the car has been out. Yes there was no big jump from 13.5 to 12.1 – but we did 12.3 first time out with the K04.

When I was competing with Viven I gave him the respect he deserved by never once saying my car was a single lambda Roc. I never viewed it as a handicap. But that's just how I am: I'd rather come out 3rd in the normal Olympics than 1st in the special Olympics.

Were you trying to save fuel or something?

lol... just kidding bud! Anyway, can we leave the bickering for now... 12.1 is an insane time. Well done for running it... regardless of what version of car. FRC really pulled the cat out of the bag here. Credit where it is due... ;)

Spark plug broke and took out an exhaust valve ;)

Car was misfiring all the way down and sounded like a Beetle.

Yes 12.1 is an awesome time. I was just confused as to why the fark I was being involved in this when all I said was 'Well Done'...

this was the same event sameer ran a 11.9 with a K04 rocc, right? So how can 12.1 be a world record? And wasn't the record already 12.1 so it was matched?

Oh and well done on the time. It is a top time.
